Frequently Asked Questions
Some of the major concerns inlude;
Why should we use eco friendly pads?
The Eco–Friendly Sanitary Pads are more comfortable and safer for the user as they don't contain bleach which has carcinogenic dioxins, they are all-natural pads not containing any chemicals, thus reducing CO2 emission of production.
What are the biodegradable pads made of?
The surface of these pads is made of organic cotton while the absorbent layer is made using banana fibre to avoid the use of any plastic or harmful chemicals. These pads are leak-proof, free from chlorine, free from chemical fragrances and are known for their natural anti-bacterial properties.
Can you go swimming with a pad?
Swimming on your period with a pad is not advised. Pads are made out of absorbent material that soaks up liquids within seconds. Submerged in water like a pool, a pad will completely fill with water, leaving no room for it to absorb your menstrual fluid.
How often should one change pads?
It is recommended that a pad be changed every 4-6 hours, depending on the flow. If used for 10-12 hours, it could lead to bacterial growth and even infections.
